Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information FinanceUtils ("we," "us," or "our") collects when you visit financeutils.com, and how we use it. The short version: we do not run our own user-data database, we use Google Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic, we don't sell anything, and all calculator math happens locally in your browser.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

FinanceUtils does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide any personal information to use our calculators. All calculations — and any charts they generate — are performed entirely within your browser. The numbers you enter are never transmitted to our servers.

2. Automatically Collected Information

Like most websites, our web hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information when you visit our site, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages visited. This information is used solely for server security, performance monitoring, and aggregate traffic analysis. It is not used to identify individual users and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies and Analytics

FinanceUtils uses Google Analytics 4 (loaded via Google's gtag.js library) to measure aggregate site traffic and improve the content we publish. As part of this, Google may set cookies and process a randomly generated client identifier together with limited technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. This data is processed by Google under their own privacy terms.

We do not use advertising cookies, Facebook Pixel, behavioral retargeting, or any cross-site tracking technologies. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing.

4. Third-Party Services

We load the following third-party resources on our pages:

• Google Analytics 4 (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com) — to measure aggregate site usage and traffic patterns. Google may process your IP address, set cookies, and assign a randomly generated client ID for this purpose. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

5. Data Security

We do not operate our own database of user data. The financial figures you enter into our calculators exist only in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or refresh the page. Aggregate analytics data is processed by Google as described in Section 3.

6. Children's Privacy

FinanceUtils is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
